As a member of the Product Management org at HubSpot you’ll:

  • Join a product-led culture that truly puts the customer first
  • Create and advance an ambitious product strategy that’s driven by customer needs, business goals, powerful data, and global market indicators
  • Partner closely with colleagues in UX and Engineering to create a high-value product that’s both powerful and easy to use
  • Use your voice, share your perspective, and have a real impact based on your point of view
  • You’ll get clear expectations and career paths outlined that align with your professional goals

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager I to join our Internal Access Management team working on a high-impact, high-priority mission to reinvent the way we secure internal access and remain compliant with regulatory obligations like SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley).

HubSpot is on a mission to help millions of organizations grow better, and that starts with how we operate internally. Our ability to solve for our customers depends on how effectively we work. That’s where internal access management comes in — it gives HubSpotters the tools and permissions they need to build, ship, and support amazing products and services.

And because we’re a publicly traded company, SOX compliance is a big deal. In fact, access management and SOX go together like peanut butter and jelly — you really can’t have one without the other, and as the SPM in this space, you’ll be in “control” of our controls.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Define and execute the product vision and strategy for HubSpot’s internal access management platform as a critical member of the Product Triad – our system for building product collaboratively and strategically
  • Drive alignment, set goals, build understanding, and motivate others, including cross-functional partners across the company
  • Explore complex and ambiguous problems, taking on several missions across your product group
  • Guide new product ideas from initial concept all the way through launch
  • Understand our internal customers and their journey with our tools and platform  by engaging with them directly and often
  • Use data to identify opportunities to improve our internal experience and controls, devise a strategy to execute your ideas, and partner with business stakeholders across HubSpot to make solutions that help our organization grow

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience launching internal and external products successfully to customers
  • A multidisciplinary approach to thinking, combining market, business, and technical insights to identify opportunities and weigh tradeoffs
  • The ability to articulate product vision to a variety of audiences
  • Experience partnering closely with compliance and engineering teams on a regular basis
  • Experience developing features or tools for engineers as your customers
  • A deep respect for the expertise and insights of their collaborators, including engineering, design, UX research, analytics, and others
  • A drive to understand customer needs deeply and truly solving for their problems
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal problem-solving skills
  • A passion for growing healthy teams and leaders, cultivating psychological safety, and facilitating tough conversations that help people grow
  • A desire to understand how HubSpot products work
  • The ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate – often without perfect information
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • An understanding of the competitive software space

It means that at Salesforce, we believe in equality for all. And we believe we can lead the path to equality in part by creating a workplace that’s inclusive, and free from discrimination. Know your rights: workplace discrimination is illegal. Any employee or potential employee will be assessed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications – without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, transgender status, age, disability, veteran or marital status, political viewpoint, or other classifications protected by law. It also applies to recruiting, hiring, job assignment, compensation, promotion, benefits, training, assessment of job performance, discipline, termination, and everything in between. Recruiting, hiring, and promotion decisions at Salesforce are fair and based on merit. The same goes for compensation, benefits, promotions, transfers, reduction in workforce, recall, training, and education.
